Podaca
is
a village in the Makarska littoral, 17 km northwest of Ploče.
With its characteristic stone houses with arched entrances, nice
beaches, fine restaurants and beautiful surroundings (slopes of
Biokovo Mountain), Podaca is frequented by a number of guests.
Entertainment is provided in the nearby Gradac. Major attractions
include the treasury of the Franciscan monastery in Zaostrog, with
a museum, a library and an arboretum. |
