Kaštela
is
seven small towns (administratively the City of Kaštela)
in the central Dalmatian littoral, northwest of Split; population.
Visitor opportunities include bathing, sports and recreation, as
well as entertainment programs.This region has been attracting
people since ancient times, from ancient Greek seafarers, Roman
patricians, Croatian kings and rulers, industrious fruit and
vegetable growers to present-day tourists. Sports and recreational
facilities include tennis courts, as well as various playgrounds
for basketball, football and volleyball. Water sports equipment
and boats are rented.
