Selca
is
a town and harbour on the coast of the Vinodol Channel, 3 km
southeast of Crikvenica. It is situated on a slightly slanted
limestone slope in the cove of the same name, separated from a
smaller cove, Slana, by Selce Cape. The coast is low and rocky,
with a number of sand beaches. Chief occupations include farming,
viniculture, olive growing, livestock breeding, fishing and
tourism. Sports and recreational facilities for outdoor recreation
(tennis, miniature golf) and water sports. |
