Nerezine
is
a town and port on the north-eastern coast of the island of
Losinj, 5 km south of the Straits of Osor, at the foot of the hill
Osorscica. Chief occupations are farming, viniculture, fishing,
seafaring and tourism.The town is famous for its lush vegetation
and beautiful, unpolluted sea. From the hill Osorscica above
Nerezine a view is offered on Losinj, the sea and the surrounding
islands: Cres, Susak, Srakane, Unije; a nice path leads to the top |
