Moščenice
is
a village in the eastern part of Istria, 8 km south of Lovran, 2
km above Moscenicka Draga (Moscenicka Cove), situated on an
exposed location above the coastal precipice. Chief occupation is
farming. Moscenice is a frequently visited place due to its
elevated position, which offers a marvellous view on the Kvarner
Gulf, and its picturesque Mediterranean architecture. A
well-maintained stairway connects the town with the large pebble
beach in Moscenicka Draga. A walk to Moscenicka Draga is
recommended, from where a walking path leads to the village of
Ucka. |
