a town in the central interior of the island of Pag, 9 km
south-east of Novalja. Chief occupation is farming. A village
situated over a fertile valley has developed various forms of
tourist offer. It is famous for lamb breeding and quality
Pag-style cheese, its wine cellars and agricultural products
(wine, honey). The inhabitants of Kolan have preserved their rich
opus of folk songs and folk creation. |
