Jurandvor is
a village in the south-eastern part of the island of Krk, in the
valley of the Suha Ricina (Big Dry River), 2.5 km northwest of
Baska. Jurandvor is the synonym of the earliest Croatian cultural
history, for domestic visitors a piece of historic memory; to
foreigners the Baska Tablet may be an encounter with the culture
of European courts in the early 12th century; the charters of that
time were unified and made by standards of the so-called
Benedictine arts. |
