Babino Polje
is a village in the central part of the island of Mljet, 6 km
southeast of the Sobra harbour, 18 km southeast of Polača. It lies
in the field of the same name, at the foot of Veliki Grad. Arable
land around the village is cultivated, comprising gardens,
olive-groves and vineyards. The opposite coast on the southern
side is characterized by cliffs and coves with nice beaches . |
